"I watched over the weekend as a Black Hawk military helicopter flew low over Sydney harbour, hovered in the bowl of the city's Olympic stadium and then dipped its nose to salute Kevin Rudd, who was perched in the stands."
Nick Bryant blogging for BBC News

I was confused myself, watching the opening of the NRL grand final from the comforts of the Aussie Club in Dhaka. A black hawk helicopter bringing a bit of military presence to a footy match seemed a bit 'Un-Australian' to me. Not being the authority on things that are 'Australian' exactly, I'll confess bewilderment with these things is only ever a moment away. I'm going to refrain on commenting on Wolfmother, for example, because, well I just don't know about all this really.
